Since addiction is a chronic disease with a multi-faceted etiology, AMHA utilizes a holistic and eclectic treatment approach.

The AMHA treatment staff views each patient as an individual whose concerns and needs are distinct and different. 

Our aim is to match each patient with the appropriate course of treatment.  A treatment plan is developed in collaboration with the patient to address their specific needs, values, and goals.

AMHA is an outpatient facility consisting of two levels of care: Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient. Methadone Maintenance is provided on both levels of care.

  Payment for Services

AMHA is a private not-for-profit organization dependent upon patient fees for its continuance.

Most of our patients have some form of insurance or medical assistance that pays for medication-assisted treatment services.

Individuals who do not have insurance are responsible for payment or they may be eligible for county funding.
