Family members who may be integrated into an agency, and psychologists, counselors, social workers, educators, nurses, and other mental health professionals who are interested in integrating family members as staff in a professional environment.

Today’s clinical practices necessitate consideration of a myriad of ethical and legal issues.

The purpose of this program is to provide practicing mental health professionals with guidance to negotiate these issues.

Informed consent, the age of consent and confidentiality are areas of primary concern to mental health professionals and family members.

Current practice standards with regard to supervision and scope of practice issues will be presented.
