Northampton County Drug & Alcohol

To improve the quality of life of Northampton County residents by eliminating Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug abuse through the equitable allocation of funds and resources, by ensuring the availability of adequate prevention, education, and treatment services, and by fostering a climate of public awareness that will lead to active personal and collective involvement

The Drug & Alcohol Division is a County office responsible for the provision of prevention, education, treatment, and case management for those impacted by addiction.

The majority of direct services are made available to the public through contracts with community service providers.

The objectives are to raise public awareness of the dangers of alcohol abuse, drug abuse, and problem gambling, and to offer resources to arrest the disease of addiction.
