< Back Erie County Juvenile Probation To provide an approach to caseload management developed to meet the requirements of the Juvenile Act's emphasis on a "balanced approach" to juvenile justice. It promotes government and community partnerships in an effort to maximize the effective supervision of juvenile offenders and reduce delinquent conduct. Direct supervision of juveniles in neighborhood settings is employed in order to facilitate the utilization of community resources and assure the accountability of juvenile offenders. < Back Southwest Behavioral Care Inc. d/b/a SPHS Behavioral Health Southwest Behavioral Care, Inc. The Mission of Southwest Behavioral Care, Inc. is to provide mental health and substance abuse services to residents of Fayette, Washington, and Westmoreland Counties. More than fifty-five years ago, a group of Mon Valley citizens joined to develop an organized, collaborative network for delivering health and human services. After many transitions, a multi-corporate system consisting of Southwestern Pennsylvania Human Services, Inc. (SPHS) and eight affiliate corporations evolved. Today, SPHS provides the full range of management/administrative services and central oversight to a comprehensive health and human service provider system. This allows the affiliates to concentrate their energies on direct service delivery throughout the four-county region of southwestern Pennsylvania. Through this partnership, SPHS and its affiliates conduct strategic planning, develop programs and provide human services throughout Butler, Fayette, Greene, Washington, and Westmoreland counties; serving over 60,000 people annually throughout 60 service locations while employing more than 1,000 professional, clinical, and support personnel. SPHS also provides administrative services to other local nonprofit organizations, in the hopes that we can better connect and serve all residents through cooperation and strong community relationships.

< Back National Adoption Competency Mental Health Training National Adoption Competency Mental Health Training FREE National Adoption Competency Mental Health Training NTI has developed two state-of-the-art, standardized, web-based training to build the capacity of child welfare and mental health professionals to support children, youth, and their foster, adoptive, and guardianship families. NTI’s aligned training provide the skills, strategies, and tools professionals need to: (1) Support children to heal from trauma and loss; (2) Support parents with skills to parent more effectively; and (3) Improve child and family well-being to increase family stability. We provide support as a Training and Implementation Specialist for this two-part online training under NTI designed for both Child Welfare and Mental Health professionals which is available immediately.
