The 14th Annual Behavioral Health and Aging conference will be a virtual conference focusing on the unique needs of geriatric populations including special populations within this group. As behavioral health care needs increase for older adults, providers need to recognize the specific needs of individual patients.
Speakers will discuss unique challenges and opportunities in the care of older adults in special populations, including addressing care needs for older adults with serious mental illness, the impact of re-traumatization in the older adult population, and the management of substance use disorder in older adults.
