About the event
The curriculum consists of 3-full days of comprehensive training using the
Family- Run Executive Director Leadership Association (FREDLA) Parent Peer Support Practice
Model: Supervision and Support of the PPSP.
Supervision of family peers required.
Having lived experience as a caregiver is not required to participate in this training.
The supervisor curriculum provides an overview of the PPSP Practice Model training.
The training focuses on skills needed to effectively supervise and support a Family Peer
Support Specialist (FPSS) workforce.
Each participant will receive an FPSS Certificate of Completion for attending the 3-day training.
Presently there is no certification for supervisors of Family Peer Support Specialist.
