Advisory Board of Armstrong Indiana BDHP Behavioral Developmental Health Program

The Armstrong-Indiana Behavioral and Developmental Health Program (AIBDHP) was established by the Commissioners of Armstrong and Indiana Counties to comply with the Mental Health and Mental Retardation Act of 1966 passed by the Pennsylvania Legislature.

The legislation mandated that all counties in the Commonwealth, either separately or jointly, establish community based services for the mentally disabled in their counties.

The Commissioners of Armstrong and Indiana Counties chose to form a two county joinder and under this administrative structure, appointed a County Administrator and an Advisory Board.

For information on the Advisory Board our staff is ready to assist you and can be reached by calling either 724-548-3451 (Kittanning) or 724-349-3350 (Indiana).
