WIC Program: WIC is a federally funded supplemental food and nutritioneducation program, which provides nutrition education, supplemental foods andhealthcare referrals to those who qualify. The program is for pregnant, postpartum,breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to the age of 5 years, whoare residents of Armstrong County and meet the income guidelines and aredetermined to be at some nutritional risk. Working families may be eligible forWIC. There are WIC sites located throughout Armstrong County.
