MissionOur over-arching mission is to preserve the family whenever possible. We do this in two areas. 1. If the children are living with their biological/legalrents, we work within the family providing intensive case management, counseling and education. We connect them with traditional and non-traditional community support services within their neighborhoods so that families are empowered to thrive even after our services end. Our goal is to nurture and strengthen a strong family unit that is able to cope with changes and challenges.2. If children are not able to live with their biological/legalrents, we work to reunify the family. We provide foster care that ensures the children are cared for in a safe and nurturing environment. We work with therent(s) to enact changes in their lives to improve family relations, communication skills and healthy lifestyles. Our goal is to shorten the length of time children stay in foster care and helprents build a family that will be stable, emotionally and physically safe, and promote the well-being of all family members.family preservation and reunification services
