PA HOME ELKS NURSE PROGRAM

An individual of any age who has a developmental disability. This is a disability that is manifested before the person reaches 22 years of age. It may result in physical or mental delays or in a combination of both. Services can continue throughout a person’s lifetime if needed.

Since 1963, the PA Elks Home Service Program has been helping to improve the quality of life for thousands of children and adults throughout Pennsylvania. We provide support and advocacy services to individuals of any age who have a developmental disability.

The PA Elks Home Service Program provides free in-home support and advocacy services for children, youth and adults of any age with special needs.  Services are available to anyone living in Pennsylvania who has a disability that began before the age of 22.

Referrals can be made by health care professionals, school personnel, community agencies, family members or friends. Permission must first be obtained from the individual or family. For children under 21, call the Special Kids Network at 1-800-986-4550. For all other referrals, contact Program Director, Pat O’Connor 814-781-7860 or Special Projects Director, Ricki Hood 814-475-2554 or you may contact the unit directly.
