PA Care Partnership the State System of Care

PA Families Inc., a Statewide Family Organization, is committed to supporting and empowering families and youth across Pennsylvania.

That's why we're proud to partner with the PA Care Partnership.

This Statewide Initiative uses a System of Care approach to improve outcomes for children, youth, and families facing complex behavioral health challenges.

What is the PA Care Partnership?

The PA Care Partnership brings together youth leaders, family leaders, and system leaders in equal collaboration to improve the systems that serve children.

By providing community-based services and support, the partnership helps youth function better at home, in school, and the community.

The partnership works at the state, county, and individual levels to find effective strategies that meet the diverse needs of urban and rural communities.

Its approach is grounded in these core principles:

  • Empowerment: Youth, families, and caregivers are central to the design and operation of services.

  • Collaboration: All child-serving system partners work together and share resources.

  • Support: Natural supports are valued equally with formal supports.

  • Community Engagement: Communities become welcoming and supportive of all youth and families.
