PA Tourette Syndrome Alliance (PATSA)
PA Tourette Syndrome Alliance (PATSA) is a non-profit organization that promotes awareness and acceptance, provides education and assists families, schools, and communities while advocating for individuals with Tourette Syndrome.
PATSA can help guide families through the 504/IEP process, and provide trainings for educators, classmates, extended family/friends, an employer, first responders, and/or community groups (sports teams, religious groups, Girl/Boy Scout troops, etc.).
Support is provided through a virtual support group for parents and/or adults with TS and in-person support groups for all ages.
They also host an annual Family Summer Camp, Virtual Retreat, Tic Connection events, and more throughout the year so that families across the state of Pennsylvania can find connections with those who understand what they are going through, make friends, and just be themselves, with no concerns.
