The National Alliance on Mental Illness is a grassroots organization, geared toward improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness. Started in 1979, NAMI has grown to become the frontrunner in mental health awareness.

Mission

To improve the quality of life of all whose lives are affected by mental illness, recognizing that the key concepts of recovery, resiliency, and support, are essential in achieving success.

We make every effort to keep this list up-to-date. If you find that a group is not meeting as scheduled, please let us know so that we can revise our list. NAMI Sponsored Support Groups – for caregivers of people with a mental health diagnosis

All NAMI education courses and support groups are FREE and open to the public. Although membership to NAMI is always welcome, you do not need to be a NAMI member in order to participate.

The NAMI Family Support Group is a monthly support group for family members, partners, or friends of individuals living with a mental illness.

NAMI Connections Support Groups – York  UPDATED AUG 2021

York Location #1 -Wednesday evenings from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at Luther Memorial Church, 1907 Hollywood Drive, York. The Luther Memorial Church is across the street from the JCC. Enter on the right side of the church is facing the church from the road. NAMI Signs will direct you to the Conference Room where the group will be held.   Meets virtually every Wednesday at 6 pm
