Helping People and Communities

The Trehab Community Action Agency began in Lackawanna County in 1970 as Treatment and Rehabilitation Services of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

In the intervening years, the organization has vastly expanded both its service area and programs. While still offering drug and alcohol treatment services, Trehab now also offers a wide array of comprehensive programming designed to empower those in need and address the various barriers to success – including workforce services, housing counseling, community services, and transportation assistance.

In response to the housing crunch resulting from the influx of Marcellus Shale activity into the area, Trehab also continues to construct and operate affordable housing developments.

We serve six rural counties in Northeastern Pennsylvania, having branches in Tioga, Bradford, Susquehanna, Sullivan, Wyoming, and Wayne Counties.

Explore the website for more information on Trehab’s programs, or call (570) 278-3338 to reach the main admin office.
