Noelia Rivera-Calderón, Esq. (she/her or they/them) is an attorney, former teacher, and Tom Steel Fellow at the National Women’s Law Center. Their work focuses on ensuring safe and supportive learning environments for students, particularly LGBTQ+ students of color. At NWLC, she spearheaded the report “We Are Not Invisible/No Somos Invisibles: Latina Girls, Mental Health, and Philadelphia Schools” and leads ongoing advocacy for Latina mental health in schools at the federal and local levels.
