The Local Task Force considers problems brought to its attention by its members and identifies system-wide issues that affect the education of all students. The Task Force investigates these issues and recommends solutions as well as provides speakers and presentations to address areas of concern. Parents, representatives of agencies serving people with disabilities, representatives of agencies advocating for people with disabilities, and educators are all eligible to become members of the Local Task Force. According to the Consent Decree, there should be a parent majority on the committee. Interested parents are critical to the membership to keep the Local Task Force effective. Our members are from Centre, Clearfield, and Clinton Counties.     < Back Community Links Resource Listing The goal of Community Links is to “link” families with everyday community learning opportunities... those places, in which all children can grow, learn and have positive experiences.Community Links staff locates and compiles information about everyday community resources and learning opportunities, and activities for young children in Dauphin, Cumberland, Perry, and Northern York Counties. The information is then populated into a searchable database and allows a map to be generated, if available.Community Links is based on the practice of “community mapping”. Community mapping is a process for identifying, cataloging, and informingrents, practitioners, and other community members about the types of community resources and learning opportunities available in a target neighborhood, community, city, or county. Your community resource spot for individuals of all ages and abilities in Dauphin, Cumberland and Perry Counties.

We are truly glad that you have found us but profoundly saddened by the reason. We know that you are trying to find your way in a bewildering experience for which no one can truly be prepared.
